Msamaria Children's Home provides full education support to homeless children — both formal and non-formal — apart from other humanitarian and material support.
The management selected the best nursery school where the children go for a maximum of two years — Msamaria Malaika Nursery Project. It enrolls children from 3 to 6 years, offering a child-friendly Montessori teaching method.
Supporting the Government to ensure all children of seven years enroll for primary education. Our children attend Rau, Moshi, Mwereni, Kariwa and Mrupanga primary schools. This year 24 children are registered, and an average of 10 students graduate every year.
Here we have Pre-Form One, Ordinary levels (O-levels), and Advanced levels (A-levels), before children join colleges and universities for higher education.
We give opportunity to children who want to pursue further studies in colleges and universities. Our children are placed at KCMC School of Nursing, St. Francisco VTC, Karanga VTC, Arusha Technical, Pipi Foundation, and Tanzania Institute of Planning.
A renovated steel container with bookshelves inside and a study verandah outside. Equipped with thousands of subject books, text books, story books and art books — open to all children in the community.
We have hired staff and volunteers who meet with children one-by-one or in groups, at the orphanage or in schools, involving teachers and parents to support every child's educational journey.
