The management selected the best nursey school where the children go for the maximum of two years, Msamaria Malaika Nursey Project is the one. Msamaria Malaika Nursey Project enroll children from 3 years to 6, where children have opportunity acquire Montessori teaching method, which is friendly nature of the children we serve.
The management support the Government to ensure all children of seven year enrolls or reunified for primary education for as journey of seven years, now our children goes Rau, Moshi, Mwereni, Kariwa and Mrupanga primary. This year 24 children registered in different class based on their education background and age. We happy an average of 10 students graduate every year.
Here we have Pre-Form One, Ordinary levels (O-levels), and Advanced levels (A-levels), before join colleges and universities.
The Management of Msamaria gives opportunity to children who want to go for further studies either in middle colleges and Universities actually we based on the best interest of that particular child. This year our children’s have been placed in different collage, to mention few are KCMC school of Nurse (2 students, learn to become a nurse), St.Fransisco of Oasis VTC C(Cookery), Karanga VTC(Electrical Engineer),Arusha Technical( Electrical Engineer Advice Level), Pipi Foundation (2 students learn to become a cookery), Tanzania Institute of Planning(Dodoma)
A steel container projected has been renovated with book shelves inside and a studying verandah outside a child centered design to stirred up a reading behavior of children. This studying unity is equipped thousands different sets of subject books, text books, story book and arts books. This is not only benefiting Msamaria children but also all the children around the community are eligible to access it. A trained librarian will be hire to maintain the project efficiency, controlling book rotations and raise reading awareness to children and proper use of them.
Understanding that the organization is working with most vulnerable children with different education backgrounds these children may require high level of encouragement and assistance all the time. By therefore, we have some hired staff and volunteers to meet with children one-by- one or in groups, in the orphanage or while in the schools, sometime teachers are involving and parents or relatives as an attempt to any children with educational challenge.
